Where It All Started
A labor of love… literally!
December of 2020 found my beloved sister-in-law, Renee, and I sitting on the porch at my parent’s house on Lake Harding. It was cold outside but we were celebrating our family Christmas together. And with twelve people inside enjoying their dinner and Christmas gifts, we needed somewhere quiet to chat (or hide, call it what you will). We were discussing the Beauty Bar and how she and Lisa Stephens (her business partner and soon to be, very dear friend to me) were wanting to build upon the Med Spa aspect of their business on Main Street.
This Discussion lead to planning. Planning lead to implementation, and implementation brought our dream to fruition. In May of 2021, we launched The Wellness Center as the Med Spa division of the Beauty Bar LG. Our initial services included advanced hydrating facials, weight loss, IV therapy, urgent care services, and B12 shots. From there, our service line increased and expanded to include Bioidentical Hormone Optimization (Biote), facial injectable esthetics (Botox, Xeomin, Juvaderm, Revaneese), expanded weight loss options (semaglutide & tirzepatide), and esthetic laser treatments (Painless hair removal, facial resurfacing, Cool-Peal, redness reduction-Motus/Tetra by Cartessa). Additionally, our requests for episodic urgent care and primary care began to grow in number. This was getting even more exciting.
Where it Started: The Beauty Bar LaGrange
Our growth indicated we needed another nurse practitioner. In October of 2022, Rachel French, ARNP, FNP-C joined us and brought a wealth of expertise in primary care, urgent care, and her phenomenal talent and skill as an esthetic injector. Rachel leads our team in the area of facial rejuvenation and correction. 2023 saw that we needed to address our continued growth. Belinda Werley, MA, joins the practice and immediately showed us her rock star status and became an absolute hit with our patients! Additionally, our requests for primary care, urgent care, and tele-med services exceeded our expectations.
The Beauty Bar and the Wellness Center have grown beyond our wildest dreams. We have been blessed to receive numerous “Best of Troup County” nominations and Awards. We could not be happier! And we have had a blast on Main Street!
Our need for space has exceeded our current abilities and facilities. With that we are beyond excited to announce our additional location AND our new medical practice name! Med2You will become the center of our medical services to include Primary Care, Direct Primary Care (subscription program), labs, Biote, Weight loss, IV therapy, facial injectables, Telemedicine, and Urgent Care. We will continue to offer laser services, facials, facial injectables (once weekly by appointment) and facial hydrating machine services at the Beauty Bar at the current location, downtown. Our Med2You office is located at 411 South Greenwood Street, 3 blocks down and two blocks over from the Beauty Bar. We are still close by!!!
Renee, Lisa, and the entire team at the Beauty Bar have been the most gracious hosts. We have learned so much together about business, each other, relationships, and our community. To follow in the tradition of being a LaGrange business owner, as evidenced by both Grandfather’s (George Campbell & Iverson Morrow), my Daddy (Jimmy Campbell) and all three of his sons (Myself, Adam & Kyle) is almost beyond comprehension. We are three generations that serve, support, and love LaGrange and the people of this amazing community.
It has been one of the great honors of my career to partner with the Beauty Bar.

​Now it is my great honor to expand in order to meet the medical needs of our beloved community andsurrounding area by returning to my professional roots as a Nurse Practitioner specializing in Family Medicine & Urgent Care with subspecialty in Facial Esthetics… at our new, additional location! To quote from one of myfavorite movies of all time (Steel Magnolias), and my favorite character, Truvy (Dolly Parton), “I’m a chain!!!” We look forward to your support, love, and continued patronage. We promise to deliver the most amazing level of service, in a new and exciting format, when it comes to you and your family’s healthcare needs. And we continue to build on the relationship of love and dedication that began at the Beauty Bar with Lisa, Renee, Tamara and all of the gang! We started under one “umbrella” and now we have two. And we endeavor to always cover you, our patients and clients, as well as each other as a business family!
